La novela vida breve, de Juan Carlos Onetti, surgió en pleno auge del existencialismo, que se difundió primero Francia para luego extenderse a otros paÃses, y es este contexto donde inserta el presente artÃculo cuyo objetivo determinar qué sentido esta puede definirse como existencialista, particular analizar la afinidad con las ideas Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Camus Sartre sobre angustia, absurdo otredad. crÃtica temática hermenéutica fenomenológica emplean herramientas analÃticas examinar estructura existencial protagonista MarÃa Brausen. Se llega conclusión pueden demostrar ciertas similitudes entre breve pensamiento los filósofos referidos, lo hace posible ubicar un lugar especÃfico dentro ideario existencialismo.
